Senior Director OSAT Procurement – Global Category Sourcing & Business Development (f/m/div)

Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Lead a multi-functional team of procurement Outsourced Assembly and Test (OSAT)Category Sourcing managers and Business Development specialists
  • Be responsible for 150M$ to 200M$ spend with OSATs worldwide for your categories
  • Oversee OSAT strategic sourcing projects and develop long term cost roadmap for new business/NPI
  • Drive business venture with new OSAT suppliers on emerging OSAT, Module and Turnkey businesses
  • Lead procurement strategic initiatives to fulfil business objectives in resilience, design for sourcing, scope 3 reduction and price to values
  • Act as management interfaces to Division management and Operations for creating competitive (project excellence, strategic views, best practices negotiation, benchmarking), and commercial conditions for Procurement
  • Oversee Subcon related best-practice sharing and benchmarking activities
  • Drive adoption of advanced negotiation tools and improvement of the procurement OSAT process framework (Business processes)

Your Profile

You are data driven and recognize and seize potential for improving efficiency, focus on results and stay aware of costs. You remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and accept responsibility for decisions.
You are best equipped for those tasks if you:

  • Have a recognized University Degree in the area of Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management; Additional Business Management Degree (MBA) is advantageous
  • Have more than 10 years of professional experience in Procurement, Production Management or Program / Project / Subcon Management of worldwide cross-functional teams; Project management certification is a plus
  • Have been active in leadership roles managing change
  • Have possessed deep understanding of semiconductor production management, preferably in Assembly, Test, and Backend manufacturing process technologies
  • Preferrable you are well versed in Backend RFQ Sourcing Process, Commercial Negotiation, and Contract Management
  • Have deep understanding of the complete supply chain and specific requirements (i.e. automotive)
  • Have experience with quality management, PCN and change management processes
  • Have successfully managed relationships both with internal (C-level) stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Are trustworthy and perform with integrity in company values
  • Have excellent English and German language skills in verbal and written communication
