Senior Data Engineer All Genders (Berlin Or Remote - Cet +/- 3 Hrs)

Maintain and develop data management systems and pipelines, optimise the data flow and manage data collection and conversion in order to provide Product teams and Software Development teams with required data effectively and efficiently.

• Leverage your technical expertise to support the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure
• Write maintainable, performant code and participate in code review effort
• Collaborate (both asynchronous and synchronous) with other functions to ensure data needs are addressed
• Create and maintain architecture and systems documentation
• Research and develop the most suitable methods to extract/transform/serve data from and to various sources
• Develop and maintain data quality standards and optimize data performance and scalability
• Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and concepts to improve overall team performance and data stack

• You have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferably in Engineering or Data Analysis, with a focus of at least 3 years specifically in concrete Data Engineering roles.
• Expertise of cloud computing platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or C++
• Good understanding of software engineering principles (e.g. Git, Docker, code testing)
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Metabase, Looker)
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
