SAP Test Automation Engineer (d/f/m)

Location: Germany

The opportunity

As a Test Automation Engineer in QE&A, you will work closely with customers to define and refine their quality requirements. You’ll help to identify the most critical business processes and you’ll create robust automated tests to expose any deviation from expected behavior. You’ll set-up lights out execution that typically invokes an array of virtual servers to execute regression testing suites overnight. And next morning you’ll investigate and identify the cause of any failures. This kind of expertise requires a technical excellence and an uncompromising expectation of perfection - and that’s why you love it!

Primary skills and experience required

• 10+ years of experience in designing, writing, and executing Test Automation scripts
• Strong client focus.
• Familiar with automation test-design for ‘SAP GUI & SAP Fiori’ applications.
• Familiar with creation of reusable components and excellent knowledge in selecting transactional data and master data according to provided selection criteria
• Familiar with any core SAP work-stream business processes and able to identify & handle data issue (or) functionality issues as needed,
• Able to access appropriate SAP tables for test-data identification & retrieval.
• Familiar with Test Automation tools such as Tosca, WorkSoft, UFT, Leapwork
• Familiar with TCD and TDS concept to handle test data effectively
• Familiar with CI/CD and the complexities of “lights out” test execution management
• Familiar with modern methodologies such as Agile and SAFe
• Familiar with many types of tests, such as functional, interface, middleware, system integration, user-acceptance, regression and non-functional
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC
• Familiar with Framework setup and best Automation practices.
• Team player with proven ability to work independently and solve problems

Secondary skills / Nice to have

• Familiar with eCATT, CBTA and SAP SolMan
• Written and verbal communication skills in German
