As a Sales Engineer Drive Technology (m/f/d) you are responsible for the sale of ABB Motion products and services in a highly technological environment and are the decisive link to our customers. Together with the sales team, you will contribute to our success, coordinate and plan complex solutions and sales strategies and develop measures to acquire new customers. Your responsibilities

• Advising our end customers and developing customised services
• Competent contact person for our frequency inverters and motors
• Translating our customers' requirements into appropriate solutions and analysing specifications and tenders
• Preparing and following up on offers (supported by the technical office staff) through to order completion
• Co-designing marketing approaches and acquisition plans
• Developing projects and acquiring new customers
• Continuous monitoring of the market and competitors
• Participating in trade fairs, customer events and promotional campaigns and supporting our marketing activities

Your background

• Experienced technician in the field of electrical engineering or electrical/mechanical engineer or comparable training
• Application experience in the field of Drive Technology, frequency converters and electric motors is a plus
• First professional experience in sales desirable, but basically the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• High customer and market orientation and persuasiveness, as well as solution-orientated work and self-management
• Business fluent in written and spoken German, basic level of English
• Travelling within the sales region for customer visits
