Risk Officer Investment Risk Control 2Nd Line Of Defense

What would your role be?

• Function Enhancement: Support Team in enhancing the 2nd LineInvestment Risk Control function through design, execution, and continual improvement initiatives. Leading or participating in risk projects and collaborating with the 1st line Investment Risk management team on risk-related matters.
• Risk Identification and Monitoring: Identify, assess, and monitor/control Investment Risks across various legal entities, encompassing liquidity, market, counterparty, sustainability, and portfolio concentration risks, including stress tests and risk indicators.
• Reporting and Escalation: Design, implement, and generate 2nd LineInvestment Risk reports (ad-hoc, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) for the respective legal entities.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict adherence of the 2nd LineInvestment Risk Control framework, processes, and reporting to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Infrastructure Management: Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the infrastructure for 2nd LineInvestment Risk Control.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in Investment Risk Control functions, ideally in a Swiss-based fund or asset management firm.
• Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Impeccable knowledge of financial instruments and good understanding of the investment industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, fluent in both written and spoken English, with proficiency in German considered advantageous.
• Experienced in working with third-party risk systems.
