The Regional Director of Finance will assume responsibility for creating strong internal control systems, finance strategy, all day-to-day operational finance activities and processes as well as driving insightful analysis of business performance to help shape the current and future strategy while building a high performing Finance team.

This is what you're going to do

• Lead a team of Finance professionals in Germany;

• Team Management, Training and Development;

• Oversee the bookkeeping function of the Region and actively assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly closings;

• Hands-on in managing key stakeholder relationships (internally & externally);

• Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all finance systems;

• Financial Reporting and Analysis;

• Budgeting/Forecasting;

• Cash Management.

This is why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have finance / business degree and post qualified experience of 5 years+, out of which 2-3 years come with managerial experience. You have a strong business acumen/commercial thought in an problem solving way. You are enthusiastic, motivated with strong attention to detail and able to learn new processes and tasks quickly.

In combination with

• Knowledge of hospitality industry (preferred);
• Good knowledge of HGB and IFRS and their application in the fields of accounting, budgeting and finance;
• You have an excellent command of German and English (both written and spoken);
• Excellent system and modelling skills ideally customary to the hotel & restaurant industry
