Your Role
As a Refractive (REF) Learning Specialist in the Digital Patient Interaction Services unit, you will be part of a digital team working with an agile mindset and shallow hierarchy to ensure the future success of the ZEISS REF (refractive) business.

We bring our passion and multidisciplinary experience to the mission of enabling our customers to increase their refractive ZEISS Laser Vision Correction treatment volume. We accomplish this through activities aimed at raising patient awareness and satisfaction of ZEISS refractive treatments using online and offline outreach, education, and marketing.

As part of our team, you will use your knowledge and skills in designing learning programs - ideally in the area of online and offline marketing, your customer empathy, and your commitment to quality to develop learning solutions for our customers so they can realize their ambitions. This involves collaboration with a learning experience manager and product specialists and owners within DPIS, as well as the refractive marketing team and practice development consultants (in-house customer consulting service).
Main tasks:
  • Contribute to current digital marketing projects by defining educational content needs for different user roles. This includes creating training mockups and content to guide Learning Management team on the exact journey in the training.

  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop training programs for refractive clinics.

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to identify learning goals, and content that will support refractive clinics in improving their marketing activities. This is specifically related to online and offline marketing activities for refractive clinics, including (but not limited to) online visibility, reputation management, social media, paid marketing etc.

  • Own the learning content creation process by working with internal and external teams to execute on your learning solution design. This includes close collaboration with Product Specialist Education Services, REF Learning Experience Manager and other internal stakeholder to bring training programs on the platform.

  • Manage the training approval process with various stakeholder within ZEISS, document and track the approval of training materials in a structured manner.

  • Stay up to date with market trends, especially related to online and offline marketing in respect to trainings programs, integrate those into learning curriculum and share insights with stakeholders within REF team.
Your Profile
Education:
  • University degree in education, psychology, business, information science, instructional design, organizational development, or a related program.

Work Experience:
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience in education, training, or learning and development.
  • Prior experience in customer education and digital training.
  • Prior experience in online and offline marketing, i.e. SEO, online reputation management, paid marketing, social media etc.
  • Ideally prior experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, med-tech, or a related field.

  • Comfortable navigating through corporate, regulatory, as well as technical environments and topics.
  • Excited with the prospect of interfacing with multiple stakeholders, and the skills to manage those relationships.
  • Commitment to quality and the drive for attention to detail to always get the small things right.

Skills:
  • Familiar with agile methodologies.
  • Harnesses the power of communication to efficiently prioritize goals, ask questions, communicate progress/results, and inspire others towards a common goal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your time, and ask for help when needed.
  • Familiar with quantitative and qualitative research, including interviewing, collecting and organizing information, interpreting and sharing results.
Specific Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of current research in the learning sciences.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and best-practices.
  • Ideally knowledgeable about trends and best-practices in digital marketing.
