Join us as Quality Technician for the Electrification Business Area where you will assist the local Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies, reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases, and maintaining process documentation.Reporting to Quality Manager this position will be based in Henderson, New Zealand.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting activities related to quality management within local organizational unit
- Executing and assisting the local organization with quality content, tools, and systems
- Supporting quality assurance activities in collaboration with local Production, Engineering, and other relevant functions
- Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages
- Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes
- Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supports implementation, and promotes opportunities for improvement
- Providing feedback to work teams based on inputs from their internal and external customers, promoting alignment between process output and customer expectations
Your background
- A relevant tertiary qualification in a scientific field
- Previous experience working in a QC role will be advantageous
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems is desirable
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology is highly regarded
- Good communication and Interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail & accuracy is a key to success in this role
