Job description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our parts and products. Your responsibilities will encompass defining Quality Control procedures in collaboration with the mechanical engineering team and quality manager, adhering to ISO9001 and ISO 80079-34 standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control Procedures: Develop and define robust Quality Control procedures for parts and products in close collaboration with the mechanical engineering team and quality manager. Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO 80079-34 standards.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee and lead the Quality Control team, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Control process and the products themselves. Proactively identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions.
  • Communication and Coordination: Act as a liaison between the mechanical engineering team, Quality Control team, and suppliers. Facilitate the seamless flow of information to optimize collaboration and address any quality-related concerns promptly.

Educational Qualification Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship in machining (Zerspanungstechniker).
  • Higher Technical Institute (HTL) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Skills & Professional Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • Thorough understanding of Quality Control principles, methodologies, and standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both internally within the organization and externally with suppliers.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and assertiveness to drive quality initiatives effectively.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control, with a proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Prior experience working with ISO9001 and ISO 80079-34 standards is preferred.

In accordance with the metal industry and trade collective agreement, the annual gross salary starts at €45.068,38. The final offer will be based on your individual skills and experience.
