Could you be the full-time Project Quality and Safety Manager in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for? 

 

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Quality and Safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Lead Project Quality Manager in Hennigsdorf, and work alongside motivated, helpful and determined teammates.

 

You'll initiate new ideas, take the time to be proactive and originate new concepts, treat everyone with respect, be positive and let others count on you. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (other Regions, Project Management, Procurement, Engineering), Bid/Project Quality Topics and much more. 

 

You will specifically support the Bid/Project Team to ensure the project safety and quality assurance by coordinating all quality activities but also be the interface with the Customer quality teams.

 

We’ll look to you to

  • Be the preferable interface in the Project Team for all the métiers Quality needed for the Project (Engineering EQ, Industrial IQ and Supplier SQ)
  • Provide quality awareness on quality activities planned for the project and organise if needed quality trainings
  • Support on request project audits, reviews and approval of vendor quality systems and audits compliance
  • Report Quality and Safety alerts and manage Non-conformities and Safety issues
  • Ensure quality of the modifications made during the project
  • Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits
  • Make sure to manage with SQ Team and/or Sourcing a good synchronization and follow-up of GO Production and FAI activities, relative to the Supplier Part List (SPL) as part of RAMS
  • Be the owner of the Supplier Part List, and ensure the list is properly created by each Sub-system
  • Facilitate problem solving during project execution phase to reduce the costs of non-quality Problem Solving (8D), Return on Experience (REX) and standards evolution

  • Degree in engineering with Management background 
  • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools
  • Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications)
  • Experience with audits
  • Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project
  • Fluent in English, German average level preferable 
  • Process oriented
  • Experience in Quality / audit are appreciated
  • Rigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM) and quality tools
  • Experience in operational activities and in documentation management
  • Collaboration and team work
