Support Tesla’s global Responsible Sourcing program with a particular focus on social/human rights topics
Conduct regular due diligence reviews and risk assessments of Tesla’s Supply Chains, with focus on commodities such as: 3TG conflict minerals, aluminum, steel, mica, merchandise/apparel, electronics, and/or natural rubber for compliance with Tesla’s Supplier Code of Conduct and other international labor, social, environment, and health and safety due diligence standards and regulations
Collaborate with internal teams such as trade compliance/legal to conduct upstream Supply Chain mapping and traceability exercises with priority Supply Chains with the aim to identify and mitigate potential risk
Develop mechanisms to collect, interpret, and analyze relevant data to monitor progress against goals, identity opportunities for impact, and communicate success
Identify areas to create positive impact and drive continuous improvement efforts
Document efforts and contribute to annual impact and regulatory reporting
Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate engagement and maximize positive impact
Anfrage
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Sustainability, International Relations, Policy, Law, Business, evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent
2+ years of strategic and operational experience in supply chain responsible sourcing, sustainability, or implementing supply chain risk mitigation best practice
Strong project management and organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and manage analysis and implementation with demanding deadlines
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills
Experience working across and successfully influencing multiple internal stakeholders
Ability to travel extensively, domestically, and internationally, with approximate 10% travel (1-2 weeks per quarter)
