Project Engineer, Pulp and Paper Mills (m/w/d)

At our location in Darmstadt we are looking for a: Project Engineer, Rolls (m/w/d) Purpose of the function: In this role you manage all central Europe roll and workshop service projects for Pulp and Paper Mills. You are responsible for technical support for the customer site for roll related topics and follow as well as support workshops for roll deliveries. Quality assurance follow up in workshops belongs to your task and working closely with sales and workshops to ensure on-time delivery. Main activities: Support projects from application to delivery, ensuring that the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget, quality and scope Provide technical support to customers in the Pulp and Paper industry Plan projects in detail, set schedules for all stakeholders, and follow each step of the project Analyze and develop procedures for improved project quality and delivery Maintain project time frames, budget estimates, and status reports Enforce health and safety protocols Prepare progress reports with project profitability analyze Required competences: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar technical education Experience in technical support and project management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience of paper making technologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software Very good written and verbal skills in German and English Travelling 50% of time to customers or Valmet locations This is what you can look forward to with us: We offer you exciting challenges in a successful, internationally well-positioned company with continuous growth Flat hierarchies and a great team guarantee a good and open working atmosphere You can expect flexible working hours, mobile working and 30 days' vacation, a company pension scheme and annual employee events There is an option of leasing a bicycle Join our team and send your application with your CV via the link.
