Über den Bereich
Developing international offshore-wind-investment opportunities towards final investment decision and beyond creating value in all phases of development is key to our success. As project director you will likely be assigned to one of EnBW largest projects ever to steer large scale offshore-wind-projects in the UK from early phases of project development until they become visible. You will be responsible for coordination and interaction with important internal and external stakeholders and thus deliver towards the growth targets of EnBW.
Vielfältige Aufgaben
- You shall be accountable for the project management and the project design, adhering to our project management and good governance principles and to achieve the lowest possible cost of energy within time and budget
- You will be leading multiple teams of lower level executives, directors/senior managers, and managers and develop strategies that will have an impact on our business for years to come
- You will be accountable for health safety and environmental performance and will be ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards
- Handling interfaces with our cooperation partners in day-to-day activities to ensure good communication, great team spirit and enable best possible collaboration
- In our own organisation you will be responsible for handling interfaces with relevant group functions facilitating an efficient project development
- Taking decisions as well as preparing the fundamentals and presentations for high standard decisions
- You will be primary representative of the project, draft the project strategies and managing the interaction with external stakeholders to ensure project performance and visibility
- Outside the project you will be part of the portfolio development offshore wind team identifying project opportunities, preparing and securing new projects and developing the offshore wind strategy of EnBW
Überzeugendes Profil
- General business knowledge to plan, organize and control resources, procedures and timing for an administrative or business process
- A proven track record of managing the development phases of largescale offshore-wind-projects is mandatory, experience in the construction phase is beneficial
- Delivery of regulatory performance in consenting and grid requirements and achievement of Non-Recourse financing in the renewable industry
- Experiences liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a senior role
- Strong in identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
- Experienced team worker with the ability to resource, manage and influence project teams in an inclusive manner and to lead virtual teams from across EnBW and its cooperation partners
- Strong communication and influencing skills required for developing and maintaining relationships with partners, investors, suppliers and stakeholders
- Excellent written and spoken English and German language
