Production Control Specialist (M/W/D) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

•Monitoring the flow of the product through the multiple production shops in the factory to ensure that production output is being optimized. •Forecast and prevent production issues. Resolve issues impacting shop productivity in collaboration with all required groups to develop an action plan and lead implementation to facilitate quick recovery and to minimize impact on overall performance.•Adjusting the plan for production shops based on downstream conditions. •Pulling the appropriate resources together to develop a plan and execute tactical plans to protect production output. •Participate in the daily operational review for Production Control to understand and maintain the health of material flow and Work in Progress through the factory. •Assist with inventory and Work in Progress control activities. •Proactive communication of risks within, as well as of opportunities for improvement of production.

•BS/MS degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Mathematics or equivalent in years’ experience with evidence of exceptional ability•3+ years of prior manufacturing experience in a similar position •Fluent in English (at least C1 level) and willingness to learn German•Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines with strong follow through •Skilled in managing projects and cross-functional teams with a broad range of engineering and technical disciplines •Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills •Willingness to work in Shifts required.
