Procurement Manager (Life Sciences)

agap2 is a European engineering and operational consulting group founded in 2005 and specialized in the industry. We work in the Pharma, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Chemicals, and Information Technology sectors.

As a consultant, you will have to support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and your skills.

You are agile and eager to adapt to different work environments that will fuel your curiosity of seeing what’s behind closed doors of the biggest projects of our client’s portfolio.

• Carrying out commercial procurements from enquiry to payment approval
• Sub-project manager for technical purchasing in investment projects at the production site, in close cooperation with engineering and production
• Coordinating and managing communication with internal contacts, specialist planners and suppliers
• Drafting and independent negotiation of contracts
• Developing procurement alternatives/variants
• Targeted development and expansion of a long-term supplier base and continuous improvement of processes

• Completed basic commercial, business or technical training with several years of purchasing experience, ideally in the field of plant/mechanical engineering
• Solid understanding of contract mechanisms in the procurement of technical components and services
• Integre, winning personality with a healthy assertiveness, who thinks entrepreneurially and acts on their own initiative and responsibility
• Business fluent in German and good command of English (written/oral)
• Flexible, open-minded and curious, with a strong desire to achieve and enjoy finding and implementing solutions
• Confident ERP and MS Office skills applied in a professional environment
