Process Automation & IT Engineer (f/m/d)

Standort(e):
    • Provide the technical and economic elements necessary for the construction of the projected costs of the products, particularly on investments
    • Define and design optimal industrial automation architectures in accordance with international standards (Automation, Robotics, Communication Networks and Cybersecurity)
    • Participate in the definition and drafting of functional specifications and process architectures of assembly lines (manual, semi-automatic and automatic)
    • Develop and validate automated assembly and product control processes to meet project goals and industry standards and qualify programs for the implementation
    • Ensure all project-related files, including resources definition, usage, and maintenance, as well as training and transfer of responsibility to production plants, are accessible
    • Guarantee an active technological watch in all areas of automation, robotics, industrial computing, and communication networks applicable to our products
    • Participate in the definition and updating of technical standards with the Schneider Electric Corporate teams
    • Support the interlocutors of the various industrial centers in the deployment of international projects

Your Profile:

    • +3 years’ experience in the design of automated/robotic processes and industrial computing
    • Extensive knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and ideally of the programming of Schneider Electric products (Automation, HMI, Unity and SoMachine)
    • Experience in the development (GRAFCET language), assembly technologies (manual, automated, robotic, cobotized) and industrial computing (visual basic, .NET)
    • Cooperative, open to teamwork, and comfortable with planning various projects
    • Very good communication skills in English and at least an advanced level in German
