Privacy Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
Localize the Global Privacy Model (information notices, procedures, templates) considering local legislation and implement it in the different functions, making it effective
Review Data Processing Agreements with customers and providers
Manage data breaches obligations, assisting the management
Draft and update regularly records of processing activities
Provide consultancy on local legislation and practices
Manage data subjects rights
Conduct audits on data protection topics
Cooperate with Group dpo in international global projects and contracts
Implement process with sales and procurement to guarantee that DPA are negotiated and assist them
Assist the business in data protection topics and in tenders
Draft data protection documents (DPIAs, LIAs, TIAs)
Your profile:
Legal Studies or technical/security studies with above-average degree
DPO certification/Data Protection Master or specific training
Sound knowledge of GDPR and European data protection law
Sound Knowledge of local data protection law and statements of DACH Data Protection Authorities
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of data protection
Familiarity with IP law and IT contracts is a plus
Experience in healthcare is a plus
Experience in risk management/audit is a plus
Experience in public tenders is a plus
Experience in project management
Specific Skills:
Proven expertise in data protection law (at European at local level)
Ability to perform audits and risk assessments
Good adherence to regulatory guidelines and requirements with regard processes and procedures
Experience in multi-jurisdictions as it relates to corporate and compliance matters
Analytical skills for evaluation and improvement of existing policies, procedures and internal controls
Ability to create plans for standard projects independently
Proficient problem-solving attitude, and taking ownership for tasks
Strong proactive capabilities
Strong communication skills and open minded and positive personality
Goal-oriented and capable to reach and maintain high standards of excellence
Ability to work effectively in team
Drafting and negotiating contracts in German and English language (Italian language is a plus)
