The Opportunity

Adobe Advertising powers digital advertising for the world’s leading brands. Our technology helps brand deliver engaging experiences to their customers across Search, Display, Video and CTV. We simplify the sophisticated world of programmatic advertising so that our customers can achieve their goals with ease.

We’re seeking an expert and passionate Senior/Principal Product Manager to lead our ‘Optimization & Performance’ team for the DSP. This person will work closely with our top-notch team of AI and ML engineers to launch innovative solutions for Planning, Budget Pacing & KPI Attainment.

As Product Manager, you’ll join the team responsible for the strategic vision, roadmap and execution of Adobe Advertising Cloud. You’ll work closely with our global customers, design, engineering, sales, marketing and consulting teams, to understand market/customer needs, and turn that knowledge into innovative and easy to-use products and features. Our product managers are the professionals in their fields. You'll speak at conferences, train our broader teams, and visit our customers around the world to understand what they do and how we can help them do it better.

What you’ll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer problems
  • Define and advocate for a product roadmap
  • Drive day-to-day product management, including cross-functional coordination with our Design, Program Management, and Engineering team to see new features through from concept, to delivery, to production
  • Build compelling cases, user stories and product requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Adobe to realize this vision by working hand-in-hand with sales and marketing
  • Monitor and analyze product usage data to identify areas for improvement
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance
  • Work with early adopters and power users to find opportunities for quick iterations and continuous improvements
  • Demonstrate customer empathy every day

Skills Required for this Specific Role

  • Deep understanding of Programmatic Advertising

5+ years working in ad tech. Proven understanding of advertising persona and the ad tech ecosystem. Can explain typical customer objectives and how a typical DSP operates in order to improve customer outcomes.

  • Experience collaborating with AI & ML teams

PMs working in these areas don't always define the 'HOW'. Important to start with the customer problem and a clear view of how to measure success. PM works as a thought-partner with Engineering.

  • Data Driven Experimentation

This role is less about 'knowing the answer' and more about developing high quality hypotheses and running structured experiments to discover high impact opportunities.

  • Effective Communicator

In addition to the technical expertise required, this person should be able to communicate in simple, customer-facing language. Often translating very complicated ideas and lots of data in digestible messages.

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager at a tech company
  • Passionate about crafting fabulous experiences for users
  • Collaborative style that allows you to guide cross-functional teams to the right outcome at various levels
  • Ability to translate a vision into practical action with the team and tools at your disposal
  • Bring energy and passion to your job and team
  • Ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources to make thoughtful real-time decisions.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and loves navigating uncharted territory
  • Excellent communication skills: You can clearly and compellingly communicate to executives and peers alike.
