As a (Microsoft) Power Platform Solution Architect, you are tech lead, architect and development lead for our individual software projects which are using MS Power Platform as the technical foundation. You technically design and lead the implementation and customization of our specialized Power Platform solutions which help RWE Renewables with the development, construction, and operations of our wind onshore, wind offshore, solar and battery storage assets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as tech/dev lead by technically designing and implementing software solutions together with the project teams, including product owner, scrum master, UX/UI engineer and other software developers
- Solution engineering based on Microsoft Power Platform, for creating and maintaining customized software solutions in renewable energies
- Conduct solution reviews and approve deliverables
- Provide (technical) support to other developers and guide/steer them in your projects (typically between two and seven developers per project)
- Being point of contact/coach for (power) users from the business, enabling them to maintain/extend their apps
- Ensure solution security, scalability and reliability
- Write/ensure technical documentations
- Define and maintain standards/policies for the usage of MS Power Platform
- Requirements (qualifications / experience / skills required):
- Exceptionally good understanding of low-code and no-code concepts and their implementation
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Power Platform architecture and its functionalities
- Functional and technical expertise in Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Project Operations
- Profound knowledge and practical experience for relevant technologies and frameworks, esp. Power Apps, Power Automate & Power BI, ALM, Plug-ins and Dataverse, Custom connector/API.
- Certifications in the area of MS Power Platform based solutions, e.g. Microsoft PL-900, PL-100 and/or ideally PL-600/
- Previous experience using agile methodologies as well as with collaborative software development e. g. pair programming, Pull Request reviews, Git flows, Azure and more.
- General understanding of software development practices, concepts, and architectures
- Preferably a completed degree from a technical college or comparable qualification with practical, relevant experience
- You speak English fluently
