The Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital provides care for a broad spectrum of skin diseases. In addition we explore pathogenic mechanisms of skin diseases in our research laboratories. The laboratory for experimental Immunodermatology (head prof. Claudia Günther) offers a PhD position for a highly motivated person. The project is integrated in a DFG funded research consortium (TRR DIONE) We are interested in innate immune mechanisms in the skin and their impact on associated arthritis formation in patients with psoriasis.
