For the EDP (Engineering Delivery Platform) production plant, we are looking for a new reinforcement to expand our existing team in the position of "Packer/Production Preparer".The EDP unit designs, assembles and tests a portfolio of modular application cells and robotic functional units.In this position, you will be part of a team that performs partial activities related to the preparation and assembly of mechanical components of functional modules, the application of industrial robots and the assembly of accompanying mechanical accessories, and you will prepare finished modules for shipment to customers.For more information about our robotics division in the Czech Republic, click on the link below: https://new.abb.com/products/robotics/cs

Your responsibilities

• Laying activities associated with the preparation of parts of positioners for assembly and painting
• Assistance in the assembly of mechanical components of "functional modules" according to the production plan and the organization of production orders
• MU/GU preparation, pre-assembly, completion, masking
• Preparation of positioners and their components for painting
• Preparation of finished modules to be sent to customers and packaging of finished orders according to transport requirements
• Installation of positioners
• Compliance with all OSH rules, use of PPE, maintaining order at the workplace
• Responsible for diligent compliance with the technical condition of the workplace
• He is responsible for the equipment located at the workplace
• Responsible for assigned tools
• Responsible for the prompt completion of internal documentation / compliance with the process
• Responsible for the quality / cleanliness of the work performed
• Informs the superior in time about unexpected facts in production / order
• Adherence to ABB's internal rules
• Compliance with 5S principles
• Solving technical problems/defects identified during assembly
• Works with a bar code reader / correctly calculates the hours required for a given order / observes standard hours

Your background

• You have an education in the field of mechanics / mechanical engineering / mechanics of machines and equipment
• You orient yourself in the technical documentation
• An advantage, but not a condition, is a valid VZV driver's license, crane operator's or binder's license
• PC skills
• Orientation in technical documentation
