Based on IP patented plattform we are able to realize smart functions in glass and transparent plastic surfaces with different microstructure and holographic optical elements.

Your Role
As a colleague in our team you will
- search for innovative solutions for new applications
- make optical designs according to specifications, evaluate the performance and the system tolerancing
- support the project leaders in technical communication with customers
- write invention reports (Erfindungsmeldung)
- support the team to find solutions for practical problems in the process
- support the software engineers in testing software and tools
- be involved in developing new tools and theoretical models to support the innovative concepts and solutions
Your profile
If you are a good team player and would like to work on customer projects, you are welcome to join! You have:
- a degree in physics / photonics / mathematics
- professional experience in optical design in industry
- Experience in handling raytracing software (Zemax / Lighttools / FRED / CODEV)
- experience in optical simulation including tolerancing and straylight simulation
- experience in Python / Matlab / C++ / C#
- fluent knowledge in German and in English and intercultural competence
- Ideally experience in applications with diffractive optical elements and You have experience in VirtualLab
