Contract Type: Permanent - part-time Description:Reporting to: Country General Manager UK/ROI. Dotted line Supply Chain EMEA.
Direct Reports and Staff:Managing a team of 2 with 1 direct report
Main Responsibilities:
• Functional and strategic leadership of country Supply Planning, Customer service and Logistics functions in UK.
• Drive the implementation of strategies, measuring results to align with company business goals and objectives.
• Oversight of operational activities, identify opportunities & problem solve challenges.
• Add a level of anticipation through improved planning, without compromising on an agile approach.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to senior management team. Through collaboration and sharing of best practices ensure a better understanding on Logistics & Supply Chain to allow for more informed decision making.
• Lead and manage change within the department.
• Lead the S&OP process. Present weekly updates on deliverables, Key performance indicators and Service level agreements as part of business update with Leadership team.
• Develop internal and external communication with all relevant stakeholders. Act as a liaison between supply chain, marketing, finance and sales teams. Business partner for Travel Retail UK & Laprairie.com. Be the key contact for global in all supply chain matters for UK
• Lead and manage the relationship with UK LSP (3PL). Act as key contact between LSP and La Prairie for any projects, process optimization.
• Ensure responsible replenishment of inventory through collaboration with Finance department tock to maintain stock valuation targets are met.
• Ensure optimized level of relevant stock in La Prairie UK warehouse as well as at retailer level; avoid out of stock, overstocks and meet new launch activity on counter dates to ensure best client experience.
• Implement a cost control mindset across the department while ensuring all invoices are approved in a timely manner.
• SAP key user logistics and operations.
• Mentor and develop team.
• Provide operational cover across planning, customer service and Logistics functions to maintain best in class service across the business.
• Maternity cover for Supply Planning Manager.
• Project lead for all Operations and Logistics topics.
• Lead supply chain related sustainability topics for the affiliate.
Main Accountabilities:
Sales Operations
• Liaise with Sales Operations manager and relevant stakeholders to determine Net Sales phasing and targets.
• Ensure internal and external customer orders are processed in a timely manner and in full as part of KPI targets.
• Monitor retailer stock levels to ensure consistent replenishment and planned exit strategy for aged stock.
• Lead regular meetings with department Métiers to consider sales trends, risks & opportunities to influence resources planning.
• Manage the order to delivery process, in terms of payment, product availability, lead-time, logistics arrangement and documentation.
Ensure customer service activities are fully compliant.
Supply planning
• Ensure compliance in relation to government policies re. custom clearance, CITES, product registration, and related policies.
• Optimize purchasing process to ensure deliveries of stock arrive in a timely manner to meet forecasted demand for all UK sales channels.
• Consider ROI, Travel retail, online needs when determining all UK affiliate needs.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to achieve Forecast accuracy and bias targets set at global level.
• Lead inventory management reviews to ensure optimal stock (enough to cover sales growth, while ensuring freshness and optimizing costs by targeting appropriate order volumes & safety stocks as well as minimizing write offs)
• Ensure all planned activities, innovations and launch dates are met as part of planning requirements.
• Monitor transportation as part of sustainability and carbon emission reduction commitments.
Warehouse & inventory
• UK 3PL management. Define and monitor guidelines and service levels in relation to all logistics processes, including outbound and inbound movements, returns, lifecycle and inventory management.
• Monitor at both warehouse and retailer level the age of inventory and action remedial exit strategies as necessary.
• Decide what the ideal coverage should look like at any point in time across the business.
• Work collaboratively with group supply chain to optimize service to UK and optimize existing services and processes.
• Lead Master data maintenance and optimization locally. Ensure material master data is updated as required.
• Manage warehouse performance and costs to ensure best in class service and value.
• Utilize financial measures to analyze logistics costs, lead times and supply chain footprint on orders, and make recommendations how to optimize ordering from central supply chain.
• Key user for SAP across the business. Ensuring all system.

Education:
• Degree or relevant experience in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics Management or equivalent.
Experience:
• High level of experience in relevant Supply Chain Management experience (demand planning, logistics) in multinational, preferably with in cosmetic/lifestyle industry
• Strong vision and a strategic mindset, with a hands-on approach iin line with the UK team needs, should be able to independently extract data from the systems and analyze them
• Proactive in finding solutions when facing logistics issues / challenges.
• IT and systems experience. Particularly SAP, WMS, MRP.
Skills /Behaviors:
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping (process-oriented mindset) and quantitative analysis.
• Strong leadership, business partnering and ability to contribute to the strategic decision and still being hands on are key qualities
