WHAT WE OFFER
The OT Security Expert (m/f/d) is responsible for development, implementation and improvement of security measures related to OT, having in mind the extending attack landscape from IT and OT. In this role, he/she also acts as a liaison to the local IT department, and provides IT competence to PCT Engineers during projects and for general problem solving. The role directly reports into the Global OT Security Officer.
You will be responsible for implementation of OT Security standards at small sites, system houses and downstream businesses where the Local OT Security officer is not a DCS or Cybersecurity Expert and hereby improving Covestro’s robustness against attacks
You will do the Consulting for local PCT on IT related technical issues on security aspects of process automation systems (e.g. domains, network segmentation, ICS upgrade, time synchronization, license management, firewalls, patching, server hardening, SIEM, PAM, remote access, network monitoring, etc.)
You will work on security blueprints for e.g. PAM in the OT area
You will deeply interact with COV Cyberdefense team, site specific Local OT Security Caretaker, vendor and IT for incident response
You will oversee the IT/OT security risk situation at assigned sides and overview remediation measures
WHAT YOU OFFER
You hold a Degree in engineering or computer sciences or a related degree with several years of professional work experience in a PCT domain
Besides you have must have a couple of years of professional experience in OT security (design, implementation, and operation) in an industrial environment with good understanding of the current threat landscape and counter measures
Further knowledge includes experience with endpoint security solutions (Anti-malware, Application control…) and good experience with network design, firewall configuration, device hardening, virtualization, and management
Experience with AWS would be a plus
Furthermore you have knowledge of the ICS architecture Purdue model, ICS network protocols (IP based and serial) and working knowledge with Industrial Cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, NIST,
Professional Security related certifications (GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Expert etc.) would be a plus
Personally you effectively communicate risks and risk mitigation programs to the senior leadership and stakeholders, you speak at least fluent English (German is a Plus) and are willing to travel as needed
