At S&S Media you'll spend your day writing code, discovering new technologies and closely collaborating with the other developers in our small team. The team is dedicated to understanding our users and making innovative applications that tailor our content to whatever device they have to hand.
Your Responsibilities
- Focus on creating innovative and modern native iOS applications using Xcode and Swift with a clear focus on usability and user engagement
- Gamification will be a big focus for us in the coming year, so a game development background would be a bonus - at the very least you should be happy working with Core Animation
- Learn the codebase of our existing apps, fix bugs and keep up-to-date with the latest features in Apple’s iOS and iPadOS releases
- Use the right technology to get-the-job-done, and relish using technologies that you haven't tried before
- Enjoy making quick prototypes and be equally happy to throw them away if the concept doesn't work
- Use all the techniques available to you to ensure that your production code is of the highest quality
Your Profile
- You hold a Degree in computer science / informatics or equivalent relevant experience
- You have professional experience developing native iOS Apps
- You are a competent Swift developer with strong OOP skills, and are first and foremost an iOS developer
- What have you developed so far? Apps you've developed should demonstrate a strong knowledge of the iOS SDK
- You work well in a small team and are willing to learn new technologies together with the rest of the team
- Reliable, resilient and highly self-motivated
- You are a fluent English speaker
