About the role:

In this role you will be delivering exceptional results for customers, Diageo and a brilliant execution of sales activation plans and responsible for the following but not limited to

Responsibility of customer performance against set financial targets & executional standards

· Deliver customer metrics & financials targets. Design and implement strategic annual customer plans focusing on sales drivers such as portfolio, promotions and listings

· Deliver strong risk & opportunity management by monitoring performance & customer profitability and undertaking corrective action when/where needed.

· Demonstrate strong commitment for Diageo’s internal compliance policies.

· Flawless execution of operational workstreams (forecasting, promotional planning, innovations, visibility opportunities and other projects)

Implementation of the channel plan and create strong customer plans to unlock growth opportunities

· Create & track a solid customer plan and ensure execution of the plan is done admirably

· Identify new opportunities for incremental business and proactively turn these ideas and initiative to action.

· Secure successful sell-in & implementation of activity plans developed & aligned with Customer Activation team

· Negotiate and implement the annual contracts of important customers.

Excellence in building customer relationships

· Manage strong internal processes for forecasting, promo planning and additional requests in line with agreed plans.

· Deliver brilliant customer service at every touch point. Secure Diageo is known for our agility: easy to do business with.

About you:

· Previous exposure to a commercial manager experience, 5-7 years work experience, preferably in an FMCG environment

· University degree (or equivalent), ideally in business administration/economics

· Strong commercial competence, understanding of a P&L, high affinity for numbers, proficiency in Excel, great analytical skills

· Strong ability to build, develop and maintain relationships

· Engaging teammate, focus on total team delivery

· Positive energy, solution oriented, self-confident in own area, strong team member, committed to own development, pro-active, structured way of working, strong analytical skills

· Business Proficiency in German and English
