Machine Learning Engineer for Recommendation Systems in AI Team

We base our work on the latest methods of machine learning (including deep neural networks), extensive data resources and appropriate computing resources. Role and Responsibilities

· Developing machine learning models for recommendation systems, user profiling etc., in particular solutions based on Deep Neural Networks

· Developing data and model pipelines in AWS cloud environment

· Writing, deploying and monitoring production-level code

· Participating in preparation of proof of concepts, scientific publications and patent applications

 

Technologies in use

· Python

· Big Data & Cloud Technologies: PySpark, Hadoop, AWS

· ML/DL frameworks: PyTorch, Pandas, SciPy ecosystem, Keras, Tensorflow

· Linux with shell scripting

· Code versioning and CI/CD automation eg.: Git and GitHub Actions 

 

Skills and Qualifications 

· Good knowledge of Machine Learning models including Deep Learning architectures

· Very good programming skills for Machine Learning/Deep Learning development with Python, including Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch (preferred) or TensorFlow

· At least 2 year of professional experience with Big Data technologies such as a PySpark, Cloud Infrastructure and Linux OS

· At least 2 years of professional experience with development and deployment of Machine Learning systems in production including automation of data pipelines (operating at 100GB+ scale) with various data sources and formats (for example: json, csv, parquet) and Continuous Integration/ Deployment tools

· Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or related fields

· Good command of English in speech and writing

 

Nice to have

· Experience in recommendation systems and/or user profiling 

· Experience with algorithms optimization (memory, processing speed, scalability, GPU)

· Scientific publications, active participation in conferences in the field of Artificial Intelligence
