YOUR MISSION
Based in our Cologne office and reporting to the Head of Marketing EMEA, you will play both a strategic and operational role in contributing to develop RIMOWA’s brand awareness and in boosting regional commercial results through local and impactful marketing initiatives in Europe.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage our annual 360° marketing plan by building, executing, and tracking local activations, in close collaboration with our Head of Marketing EMEA, global marketing experts as well as regional retail teams
- Steer media campaign planning and corresponding budgets: Manage dedicated media plans, brief creative agencies on the localization of campaign assets (such as paid social, display, OOH and print), monitor performance during campaign and suggest proactively optimizations (specifically for paid social with a full funnel vision), consolidate and analyze campaigns results in post campaign reports
- Support and manage our day-to-day PR activities: Work closely with our regional PR agencies, various stakeholders, and spokespeople; edit and translate press releases, as well as other content both in English and in German; coordinate all kinds of coverage such as clippings, sample tracking, product placements, editorial requests
- Event Management: Conceptualize, plan and execute retail marketing activities as well as client and press events
- Support our (franchise) partners in the region: Ensure brand consistency and guide them in their yearly marketing planning and budget allocation
- Monitor local marketing budget and dedicated expenses
Profile
YOUR PROFILE
- University’s degree in business, marketing, communication or relevant field
- 4-5 years of relevevant experience in media, communication and/or marketing in an international environment. Agency experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English. Any additional language is a plus, especially French
- Master of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Great connector to drive relationship with key stakeholders and KOLs in the region
- Comfortable with budget tracking
- International mindset, creative, curious by nature & open-minded
- True team player with a can-do attitude
- Excellent project and time management skills; Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and re-prioritize tasks
- Interest and availability to travel within Europe and elsewhere if necessary
- Passionate about Art / Design / Fashion / Travel
