In this role, you will take on responsible tasks in sales, tendering and project management of low-voltage switchgear projects. You will be part of the Marketing and sales team for low voltage switchgear systems in Germany. Not only will you be in direct contact with our customers and other sales engineers, but you will also be able to support our customers competently and reliably during tendering and execution of projects.
Your responsibilities
- Taking care of customer needs. Develop and present appropriate solutions for the customers, also regarding technical and commercial aspects
- Development of a technical quotation strategy, examination for technical and commercial feasibility and selection of adequate suppliers/subcontractors
- Preparation of technical and commercial offers as well as presenting the offers to the customers, also together with other sales units
- Participation in project negotiations, also together with other sales units and contract management
- Clarification of the contractual scope with the customer, including possible installation/commissioning of the switchgear
- Implementation of project planning, internal clarification of project specific technology and customer requirements as well as conducting project controlling throughout the project phase
- Coordinating engineering and production processes between customer and suppliers
- Conducting and coordinating claim management activities throughout the project phase
- Participation in customer acceptance tests at the plant and coordination of construction site activities
- Taking care of the project cash flow
Your background
- Completed technical studies, preferably in the field of electrical engineering or industrial engineering
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in sales and project management in the field of low voltage switchgears
- Alternatively, a completed technician training in electrical engineering with several years of professional experience in the sales-related sector
- In-depth knowledge of SAP and Salesforce desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel approx. 15% in the context of sales activities, tendering and order processing
