The Opportunity
For our Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) we are currently looking for a Market Access Specialist to cover the area of Poland and who will be reporting directly to Market Access Lead PL&CEE in Poland, with preferred base location in Warsaw.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand, navigate, and keep current with the healthcare system at a local and national level to enable effective education in CGM
- Identify, understand priorities, and develop professional relationship with local clinical experts and regional government bodies.
- Clinical stakeholders management across Primary and Secondary care that will influence adoption and uptake of the CGM solutions
- Discussing and communicating the clinical and economic data and the value of product appropriately to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Build Clinical and Non-Clinical Champions and Advocates who can influence the update of the FreeStyle product portfolio and digital ecosystem.
- Mobilize local KOLs to maximize peer to peer influence and advocacy
- Assess the local possibilities for preparation healthcare programs in the area of diabetes
- Gathering information and insights on therapy area and medical and scientific needs
- Ensure strong health economics support for ADC Division
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Medical and Sales Teams to create stable position of ADC in region
- Conducting and management ongoing MA administrative processes (preparation and settlement of documents with cooperation with accountancy & legal on the contents and approvals)
- Develop strong acquaintance to Abbott policies in terms of: Contracts, Distributors, HCPs, Third parties, Activities as Trainings & Workshops, and all documentations in line with compliance requirements and policies.
Requirements:
- University degree in health sciences or other relevant
- Minimum over 5 years’ experience in the area of HTA or Reimbursement in Pharma or Medical Devices or Clinical Affairs in commercial or public industry
- Driving license category B
- Advanced knowledge of evidence-based medicine, new technology, National Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry
- Deep knowledge of the environment, legislation, policy and decision-making process in the healthcare system
- Proficiency in English and Polish
- Excellent communication/organizational/ planning skills
- Availability to travel at least 60 % of the time.
