For our Engineering Project Management Team in Switzerland, we are looking for a new team member, to join us immediately or by arrangement, in the role as
Manufacturing Engineering Portfolio Supervisor (m/f/d) 80- 100%
Location : Depending on the location of applicant (Canton of Solothurn or LeLocle (NE))
Type of Contract
Start date: Depending on candidates availability
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Know and understand the campus strategic directions and develop an understanding of the Workcell business strategy.
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and project leads responsible for portfolio (New Product Introduction NPI, Life Cycle Management LCM) projects, assessments, and concepts.
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems and drive internal / admin engineering and project management processes & tools improvement & standardization.
- Develop, determine and implement policies, procedures and programs.
- Determine and establish specifications through engineering calculations and layouts.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; and two plus years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of engineering and/or project management experience.
- Work experience in regulated environment (e.g. Medical Device, Automotive) and ideally knowledge of new product introduction, life cycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and leverage partnerships, implement change and manage projects.
- Very profound communication skills in English (able to lead negotiations), German, French.
- Ability to define and resolve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- Responsible functional leader of the Manufacturing Engineering Portfolio team for the assigned Workcells (BET/GRE/LLC) and driving functional improvements and best practice sharing across the Workcells globally.

- Drive internal / admin engineering and project management processes & tools improvement & standardization.
- Primary location can be chosen among Le Locle, Bettlach or Grenchen, while in this position the responsibility is for all 3 locations/sites/Workcells.
