We are a dynamic team of enthusiasts for the limitless opportunities of the bioeconomy, and, together with you, we are ready to take UPM's success story to the next level. « - Florian Diehl, Director Sales &\; Marketing, RFF Business What you'll do Ensure that Sales &\; Marketing of our newly developed renewable functional fillers (RFFs) is successful through close relationships with customers Provide technical support in the use and handling of RFFs to direct customers and distributors in the rubber and plastic industry Coordinate and facilitate customer approvals of UPM's renewable functional fillers Introduce RFFs to new leads in the rubber and plastic industry Collect customer feedback and technical requirements, and share them with Sales &\; Marketing to make informed decisions Provide on-/off-site technical services, including product trials, assessment and discussion of test results, and customer/distributor training Prepare technical literature for customers (e.g., product information and application guidelines, etc.), participate in trade fairs, and deliver technical presentations at industry conferences Serve as the first point of contact for all technical questions related to UPM's renewable functional fillers (i.e., product quality, application performance, handling, safety, sustainability, etc.) Who you are You have a university degree in chemistry, polymer engineering, or materials science You have more than 5 years of experience in the rubber and plastics industry You possess a profound knowledge of functional fillers, polymers, compounding, rubber and plastics processing, and their applications You demonstrate a strong commercial focus, merging customer needs with business benefits You possess excellent skills in MS Office 365 (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and are familiar with CRM programs (e.g., Salesforce) You are fluent in both English and German and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written You are confident, able to make decisions, take ownership of objectives and challenges, and possess very good analytical and problem-solving skills You are willing to travel internationally (30 - 40 % of the time), with a focus on the EU This is what we offer for you A meaningful job - We have an inspiring purpose 'We create a future beyond fossils.
