- Salary Range: € 100.000 - 130.000 per year gross depending on the seniority level
- Hybrid work setup (min. 3 days in the office, 2 days in home office) + Workation up to 3 weeks per year

Your Responsibilities
- As a disciplinary leader provide directions, coaching and support to Software and Cloud Engineers (currently 4 FTEs, plan to grow to ~9 by end of year)
- Actively drive talent development in the SW team, individually and as a team
- Drive cultural change and a winning mentality; role-model collaboration and teamwork with peers heading other teams
- Be responsible for the expansion and evolution of our service offering, delivering innovation and differentiation based on solid Software development principles and a lean architecture leveraging AWS cloud services cost effectively
- Collaborate with the executive and leadership teams to set the vision, strategy, and long-term goals that align with the business objectives, achieving Entrix's success
- Fail-fast, as part of the tech leadership team, accelerating product delivery without sacrificing excellence is what we are inspired by, finding new ways of working, using technology, breaking habits, limits and ceilings
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years within software development and leadership, with 3-4 years as an individual contributor in the software field
- 3+ years of experience working on a data product with algorithmic and ML components
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading high-performing software teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders as well as collaborating on deep technical concepts with your peers and team
- Track record of successfully delivering technically advanced software products on time
- Ability in troubleshooting the gnarliest piece of code and writing the best code reviews
Skills to Set You Apart
- Having led a mix of Data Science and Software Teams
- You have built multiple software teams before
- Experience in the energy industry

Hi there!
I'm Sebastien Schikora, serving as the CTO at Entrix since June 2022. My diverse career journey has provided me with a range of experiences with a deep dive in the energy industry and the functioning of the grid specifically. In the last years, I was:
- CTO at KONUX from September 2018 to April 2022, where I played a pivotal role in shaping the company's tech landscape and products.
- Sr. Manager at Tesla from November 2015 to July 2018, leading the development of energy storage systems and mobile apps.
- Vice President of Product Development at Networked Energy Services (NES) Corporation from October 2014 to November 2015, launching a new company and product line in the grid digitalization space.
- At Echelon Corporation, I held various roles over six years, including Director of Product Management and Development in the Grid Modernization Division.
- Before my endeavors in the Energy Industry I was working for Hewlett Packard in the Enterprise Software group for a little over 10 years.
I'm all about pushing the boundaries of technology and driving progress in our industry. I spent the majority of my career in the Silicon Valley in California and apply a lot of the methods and drive to my workplace here in Munich. Our team is the basis of our success, and I'm dedicated to fostering a collaborative, innovative and goal driven work environment.
