  • Drive production output,efficiency & cost improvements through bottleneck management.
  • Maintain electrical andmechanical equipment to maximize reliability, availability, and continuedoperation.
  • Plan and coordinate withmaintenance and production supervisors on working plans including shut downs,daily work, preventive and predictive maintenance, within budget.
  • Coordinate sub-contractingwithin the plant and follow up on work performed to ensure safety, equipment availabilityand efficiency.
  • Create, track & usemetrics that emphasizes safety, quality, efficiency & cost.
  • Communicate and work withpurchasing to identify short term and long term needs related to spare parts.
  • Setting up quality gates andquality assurances in line.
  • Maintain and ensure compliancewith process documentation for standardized work.
  • Promote cross training, jobflexibility and versatility of staff, including development of trainingschedule.
  • Work with cross-functionalteam to create efficient job station layouts.
  • Understand machine capacity,create machine line loads and implement equipment contingency plans
  • Direct involvement increating/executing capital expenditures related to departmental budget and millgoals.
  • Complete new job time studiesusing prototype, conceptual and/or final parts.
  • Utilize systems like MES toensure accuracy of product builds and consumption.
  • Ensure all safety rules areenforced, including an understanding of OSHA safety requirements.
  • Manage team of  4+Supervisors along with the headcount under their organizations.
  • Responsible for improving KPIsincluding quality, yield, and productivity.

Anfrage

  • Minimum of 7 years of relatedexperience.
  • Fluent in the German andEnglish language.
  • Possess and demonstrateleadership skills in a production environment.
  • Experience supervising large teams.
  • Experience resolving conflict.
  • Experience in hiring anddeveloping team members and leaders.
  • Experience in new productdevelopment and launch activities.
  • Able to work well underpressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
  • Effectively communicate to alllevels in the organization, including large group presentations and translatecomplex ideas into a simple easy to understand format.
  • Foster a professionalatmosphere of respect and growth.
  • Demonstrate problem solvingskills (man, method, machine, material, etc.).
  • Knowledge of daily startupqualification procedures and SPC.
  • Able to effectively multitask.
