THE POSITION As Manager Controlling Corporate you will be part of the Core Functions and Corporate Center Controlling Group, responsible for rendering controlling services to Finance & Controlling, Human Resources, Communications & Public Affairs and Legal.
As key finance contact you provide excellence and insights to support solutions with impact to the respective Group Function organization as well as influence the business partner in a collaborative fashion.

This position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.
Tasks & responsibilities- In your new role, you will proactively advise key business partners on all financial - and controlling- related topics for the assigned Group Functions and act as central Business Partner.
- Therefore, you will plan, report, analyze and monitor functional expenses and projects of the respective Group Function providing proposals for optimization to achieve targets.
- Based on your result-oriented and inter-disciplinary work, you will support decisions of your business partner by looking ahead and providing excellence and insights to support solutions with impact.
- Moreover, you will provide adequate financial analysis and insights as well as execute and implement processes for forecasting to ensure transparency of financial data.
- You will be also responsible for financial integrity and ensure the application of taxation principles of Boehringer Ingelheim within process design and execution. This includes your participation during audits and the preparation of appropriate documentation.
- Finally, you will strive for innovation and train Business Partners in all related financial planning, reporting and steering processes.
- Master’s degree or comparable in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar with several years of relevant work experience
- Excellent proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, reporting and forecasting with excellent capacities in SAP, MS Excel and affinity for empirical analysis
- System affinity with strong functional and business know-how and the ability to understand the "big picture"
- Knowledges of internal and external accounting combined with a good understanding of tax related and legal matters
- Communicative team player with good critical judgement, the ability to present complex matters clearly and a process-, customer- and business partner-oriented mind-set
- Excellent communication skills in English
