The Opportunity
This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.
As the Manager Business Operations Supply Chain (m/f/d) you will be part of the EMEAP Business Operations Team and responsible for setting up and managing the Supply Chain and CX related programs and initiatives to execute best-in-class service for Abbott Customers in our Abbott Diabetes Care division.
What You’ll Do
- Supporting our Business Operations in running of our central service provider and our local in-country operations in EMEAP.
- Executing process change requirements and its formal documentation within our Supply chain Business Operations function.
- Initiating, supporting and driving projects and initiatives in SCM and CX to enable innovation, growth and continuous improvements, including KPIs, Operations Excellence, quality standards and Cross-functional analytics.
- Building and maintaining strong cooperation and relationship with external 3rd Parties, countries, and central functions.
- Analyze and improve all SCM related aspects of CX experience and journey to ensure and increase customer satisfaction in all areas.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction levels by providing daily problem-solving resources and root-cause analysis.
- Actively executing with countries forecasting and budget process
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Post graduate diploma or University degree and/or adequate degree and on-the-job business exposure with solid work experience.
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in operational management.
- Outstanding project management and operational skills.
- Excellent analytical and communicational skills.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Solid track record in execution of lean management tools
- Action and solution-oriented; self-driven, hands-on, and proactive team-player
- Excellent English and good German skills; other European language is a plus.
- Travel up to 40%
Prefered Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a mass market B2C environment is a plus.
- Experience in use of Salesforce CRM or similar products is a plus.
- SAP knowledge is beneficial.
