UPM Communication Papers is now looking for a proactive, dynamic and results driven Manager Business Control (m/f/d) located at our Augsburg Mill.
What you’ll do
- Drive the business as member of the Augsburg Mill Management Team
- Participate in strategy work and target setting
- Follow-up the financial results of the strategy implementation and target setting
- Deliver performance analyses and benchmarking
- Proactively monitor the cost development and profitability
- Lead mill's forecasting and budgeting activities
- Contribute to business planning, investment and restructuring
- Create transparency and identify improvement potentials
- Act as link between Business organization and Financial Shared Service organization, close collaboration within Financial Key Persons Network
- Participate in UPM's cross-divisional business control activities
- Support the development of business process and finance related IT-tools
- Maintain accurate product cost recipes for optimization
Who you are
- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Operations or a comparable education with three or more years of relevant work experience in Finance or Controlling
- You are familiar with Management Accounting as well as German HGB and IFRS basic accounting standards
- You have good analytical skills and the ability to understand and conceptualize complex processes and data flows
- You also have a good understanding of non-financial contexts and technical related matters
- You have strong collaboration and team working skills with a flexible, positive and proactive attitude towards changing and global work environment
- You have extensive IT skills. In addition to normal MS Office skills, experiences with SAP and visualization tools such as Power BI are considered an asset
- You are fluent in English and German
- You are generally willing to travel to a minor extend
