As the Lead System Operations, Transmission Services, Application Management Grid Security (SOP-TRS-AGS) you are responsible and the main point of contact for the IT Applications at System Operations Transmission Services. In that role you will take care of managing the following tasks:- Overall leadership of the team SOP-TRS-AGS and creating a positive, motivating and safe work environment. Acting as a role model in creating and demonstrating the desired mindset and behavior in line with TenneT's corporate and departmental principles (result orientation and choice making) and Leadership Profile (Connection, Ownership and Courage)
- Ensuring knowledge conservation and transfer regarding the processes and applications
- Actively contributing to the strategic planning that aligns with the objectives of Transmission Services, System Operations and TenneT. Being the point of contact for the stakeholders within and outside the unit and developing and maintaining good and trustful stakeholder relationships.
- Management of Data contracts and Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the IT respective grid security related applications/processes of Transmission Services. Being the responsible owner of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and taking the Data steward role in that context.
- Succesful implementation of new processes and tools, supporting the Manager in the Business Owner role for the Agile Release Train SOP-TRS.
- Ensures proper plannning and assignment of resources for the team and setting the right priorities being the IT Hardware owner of the Control Rooms, Participation in the crisis organization in the role of Lead Incident Manager
Your profile and background
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with a strong academic background and a relevant degree, preferably with several years of expertise in Information Management or a related field. In addition to academic qualifications, we require leadership experience, along with strong technical and leadership skills. We seek a natural, servant leader who can effectively inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
In addition to leadership qualities, the ideal candidate will possess competencies such as strategic thinking, decisiveness, collaboration, result orientation, and priority setting.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is advantageous, as well as certain knowledge of and experience with Information Technology processes in a Transmission System Operator (TSO) context.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English language, this is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and within the team
