About the Job 👇

You’ll take part in strategic product and projectoriented software development. The team you are working with aims to build the fastest and most scalable SSAI platform. You will play a key role in this mission, helping to enable the team and adding your signature to the effort. Your interest in tech and learning will give you quick access to our 4 product stacks: Live, VOD, HBBTV, and Audio.

What You Will Do ✏️

You will plan and help to architect the best path to achieve non-functional product requirements with deadlines and customer-facing functional requirements. From merge reviews to scrum grooming, you will help the team understand and comply with clean coding guidelines. By coding critical parts of the stack, and optimizing algorithms yourself, you will stay very much hands-on in this role.

Your Responsibilities 📝

Software development is the focus of this position. Your experience with architectures, best practices in the software development process, and clean code will allow you to bring the team to the next level.

As a Lead Software Engineer you are expected to:

- Design excellent features

- Write outstanding code

- Raise the bar for coding standards in the team

- Improve the planability of the team delivery

Your Skills 💡

You have been the tech lead of a small team in a quality oriented environment and you have provable experience in the following:

- Node.js, optionally Golang or polyglot

- Clean code writing and use of: eslint, prettier, husky, gitlab-ci, docker, strict MR workflow, automated versioning

- MongoDB, optionally any TSDB

- Optional DevOps knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform+Helm, Gitlab, Jenkins, Slack API, Grafana, Micro-Service Architecture, bash, python.

You also have:

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience in video streaming technologies

- Strong customer orientation

- Team player attitude

- Ability to work in a multinational team immersed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
