Key Alliance Senior Project Controller (all genders)

Additional Locations: Cologne, Goettingen, Munich, Toulouse, Verona, Abingdon

Your key responsibilities:

• Global Project Controller for Key Alliances and collaborations based in HQ Hamburg
• Business Partner for alliance management and project managers
• Monitor and steer the performance of Evotec's largest collaborations
• Prepare monthly project analysis and reporting
• Conduct regular performance reviews with operational management
• Coordinate and prepare forecasting and budgeting for Key Alliances
• Perform SOX-Key-Controls for Project Controlling
• Prepare business plans for new alliances and present business cases to management
• Strong interaction with Group Accounting on revenue recognition and help to translate operational activities into Accounting
• Optimization of project controlling process for key collaborations
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis on the key collaborations

Your required qualification:

• Bachelor or Master in Finance/Controlling/Accounting, or MBA or equal qualification
• > 5 year working experience in Controlling, ideally with particular experience in Project of Sales controlling
• Advanced knowledge of Accounting, Controlling and Cost Accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers
• Experience in ERP systems, databases as well as planning- and reporting tools
• Excellent MS Office-skills, in particular Excel
• You are pressure resistant, adaptable to fast pace and able to deal with ambiguity
• You have a build and growth mindset (you are curious and seeks out opportunities to further learn, see challenges as opportunity to learn and grow)
• You have a high learning agility
• You are highly collaborative, care of people around you and enjoy networking inside and outside of your organization
• You have excellent written and verbal German and English communication skills
• Ideally experience with SAP, Cognos TM1, Cognos Analytics and Tableau

Your ideal qualification:

• You have worked in SOX compliant companies
• Understanding of revenue recognition rules within IFRS15
• Experience in settIng up complex business revenue recognition models
• Experience in data analysis forecasting
• Experience in working in a fast paced environment and partnering with BD/Salesorganization
• Pharma / Biotech know-how/experience
• You have international experience (have lived and/or worked outside Germany)
