Junior Relationship Associate

Overview of contract :

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Geneva, we are looking for a Junior Relationship Associate to partner with Regional Relationship Managers on an assigned portfolio of clients, by providing consistent, enthusiastic, high quality support of relationship management activities.

This is a fixed term contract for 9 months. Start date is ASAP.

Main res p onsibilities :

• Partner with Relationship Managers in support of new business and revenue growth for a designated portfolio of clients.
• Provide guidance and support to the dedicated in-country network and co-ordinate closely with Bankers in the coverage team.
• Support account strategies by developing an institutional understanding of the client, eg; their treasury model and philosophy, funding model and cash management strategy, wallet sharing and bank group, decision making, subsidiary support policy.
• Assist the Relationship Manager in implementing calling plans, call tracking, joint pipeline reviews and internal client remapping tasks, and placemats creation and update.
• Effectively engage the Network and Product partners in support of opportunities and help position products and services to clients.
• Secure effective engagement of Product, Service and Delivery to support the execution and resolution of client related issues.
• Drive the credit approval process, respond to credit requests and enquiries, monitor credit lines and usages, support over-rides, recommend efficiencies.
• Ensure Legal, Support and Credit documentation is up to date.
• With the time act as a back up to Banker
• Support the resolution of Compliance/KYC/AML related risk issues
• Support the Business Head in business support activities such as client event organization, preparation of presentations, client meetings and team's agenda

You r expertise:

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in banking or equivalent
• Up to 3 years of banking experience preferred, preferably in relationship or client onboarding
• Able to create and sustain valuable working relationships with clients, with product partners and stakeholders
• Understanding of KYC and regulatory environment
• Good understanding of cash management, trade, FX, loans
• Strong Research capability through various applications to obtain data
• Positive track record of working in a demanding environment and under pressure
• English mandatory, French will be considered
