The most valuable data is often too sensitive to be shared and restricted in how it can be used. Our secure data collaboration platform, based on a new privacy-enhancing technology called Confidential Computing, solves this by letting companies and organizations share without sharing — combining sensitive data and discovering new insights without ever exposing the raw data to the other party. Or to us. Or to the cloud provider.

Who uses our product? Decentriq powers data collaboration in the world’s most privacy-conscious industries, including media (Goldbach), healthcare (Roche), banking and the public sector (Swiss Army).

Our headquarters is in Zurich, but you can find us in Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and distributed across Europe.

Tasks

As Junior Controller, you will own broad-ranging responsibilities around all financial and business intelligence tasks of the company. You will work closely with the Head of Finance & Operations to support the execution of end-to-end processes related to financial operations, -reporting, -planning, and -controlling as well as business operations and legal topics.

Financial Tasks:

  • Perform day-to-day finance operations such as
  • Accounts receivables and accounts payables management
  • Pre-Accounting tasks via Xero
  • Invoice management
  • Budget and liquidity planning, ownership over the Excel business plan
  • Monthly financial reports to stakeholders, investors, and the internal management team
  • Annual report creation
  • Administration of research and subsidy programs

Business Operations Tasks:

  • Ownership and monitoring of a company KPI system
  • Support in legal/contracting tasks (NDAs, DPAs, Customer Agreements)
  • Auditing process support for SOC2 and ISO27001 processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
  • A minimum of one year of operational experience (preferably at a start-up) with demonstrated expertise in accounting, budgeting, reporting
  • Problem-solving mentality and capacity to make data-informed decisions
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with Xero, Hubspot, PowerBI or Tableau is a plus
  • Proficiency in German at an intermediate level
  • Decentriq is a Swiss entity. Experience with Swiss law is a plus
