Tasks
As Junior Controller, you will own broad-ranging responsibilities around all financial and business intelligence tasks of the company. You will work closely with the Head of Finance & Operations to support the execution of end-to-end processes related to financial operations, -reporting, -planning, and -controlling as well as business operations and legal topics.
Financial Tasks:
- Perform day-to-day finance operations such as
- Accounts receivables and accounts payables management
- Pre-Accounting tasks via Xero
- Invoice management
- Budget and liquidity planning, ownership over the Excel business plan
- Monthly financial reports to stakeholders, investors, and the internal management team
- Annual report creation
- Administration of research and subsidy programs
Business Operations Tasks:
- Ownership and monitoring of a company KPI system
- Support in legal/contracting tasks (NDAs, DPAs, Customer Agreements)
- Auditing process support for SOC2 and ISO27001 processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
- A minimum of one year of operational experience (preferably at a start-up) with demonstrated expertise in accounting, budgeting, reporting
- Problem-solving mentality and capacity to make data-informed decisions
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience with Xero, Hubspot, PowerBI or Tableau is a plus
- Proficiency in German at an intermediate level
- Decentriq is a Swiss entity. Experience with Swiss law is a plus
