As an Account Manager based in Erlangen, you will have the opportunity to use both, your technical and interpersonal skills to support projects with a global acting customer of Infineon. You will be involved from the evaluation to the design-in phase and become integral part of a worldwide team that stands for outstanding customer relationships.

At the beginning you will support the account team and your experienced colleagues in various tasks. After an initial period you will have the opportunity to take over more and direct customer responsibility.

In your new role, you will:

  • Define,implement and monitor the sales strategy for the designated customer in order to achieve Infineon's business success
  • Provide feedback to the headquarter on demands and requirements from markets and the customer
  • Identify projects with high sales growth potential and support the demand creation process
  • Set priorities and work closely as part of a wider team of Senior Account Managers and Field Application Engineers
  • Monitor sales and demand creation activities and ensure reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Foster personal long-term relationships with key stakeholders at the assigned customer
  • Monitor competitor activities, provide price positioning and analyze system advantages for new and upcoming roadmap products
  • Introduce new ways of digital selling techniques

You are a proactive and self-driven team player, who gets things done and enjoy working in a demanding field environment. Whilst putting the customer at the heart of your actions, you recognize and realize profitable business opportunities. In every "no" from the customer, you look for ways to "turn the tide" and to gain back enthusiasm.

Beyond, you are best equipped for those tasks if you have:

  • A technical background is mandatory, e.g. based on a degree inElectrical Engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of experience ina Sales, Marketing or a technical role, ideally in the semiconductor industry
  • First understanding of the marketandcompetitor landscape
  • Very good communication, presentation skills
  • High customer and team orientation
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Enjoy visiting the customer

We are open for graduates, who bring less professional experience, but want to start their career in Account Management and are motivated to provide technical solutions and services to customers.
