We are looking for a Junior Human Resources Business Partner (Jr HRBP), based in Athens - Greece!
The Jr HRBP is the operational local HR interface for Greece. Working together with the HRBP for Hungary, Romania and Czech Republic, this role will also support these markets as required. The Jr HRBP is the first point of contact for all HR-related issues for the line managers and represents the regional link between the individual country and the functionally responsible CoEs. This role takes measures in the respective teams and actively contributes to the achievement of HR relevant goals and the implementation of the HR strategy. The Jr HRBP works closely with the business leaders and the central HR team for specific global projects.
Your contribution:
- Advises and coaches line managers on employee issues
- Manages recruitment across a variety of open roles, helping and guiding hiring managers
- Ensures the timely and efficient implementation of HR processes
- Analyzes HR data and trends to provide insights to the teams
- Implements employee development activities, working closely with the line managers to understand their needs
- Leads employer branding initiatives, including career fairs’ representation, communication with universities, volunteerism and social media posts
- Utilizes interns, graduates and working students programs
- Ensures legal compliance of HR practices; updates policies as required
- Works closely with the Central HR team; continuously aligns with the overall HR priorities and contributes to wider team projects
- In collaboration with the external payroll provider in Greece:
- prepares the monthly payroll
- oversees the administration of onboarding and offboarding processes, benefits administration, as well as any other documentation to ensure legal compliance
- ensures the timely submissions to public authorities
- University Degree in Business, Postgraduate Studies in Business Administration or HR would be desirable
- 5-6 years of experience in HR generalist roles, operationally supporting the business in all HR areas
- Previous exposure in a multinational environment working with virtual teams
- Fluent in English
- Good understanding of the Greek labour law
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with others having a team oriented and positive attitude
- Assertiveness combined with diplomatic skills and empathy
- Strong operational commitment, initiative taking and project management skills
- High degree of implementation strength
- Strong communication, prioritization and organizational skills
- Good in problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation
- Ability to build and manage effective interpersonal relationships
