Form der ArbeitDHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking as IT WMSConfigurer – Manhattan. In this role you will be accountable for completing the analysis of business requirements for the Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System) through process mapping and translating these into a detailed Manhattan configuration, while also providing SME support in terms of technical changes to system solutions to meet the business needs.
You will also carry out standard configuration requests and support with any new go-live projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring good maintenance of system templates to help streamline future on boarding projects.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:
- To configure the strategic Manhattan WMS in line with the output from the design activities.
- To provide implementation support to various projects dealing with various solution sets and products.
- Ensure effective fixes are deployed for identified defects, engaging with external and internal teams for fault resolution.
- Analysis of business processes and design of new processes and system configuration to optimise future business operations.
- Plan and organise data collation and data set up for the agreed solution. Ensuring accuracy of data.
- Function as a subject matter expert (SME) in area where the Configurer is expected to have expertise (eg. Specific solution sets)
- Document the configuration of solutions and any changes to process maps and SOP's and ensure that clearly documented processes and release management documents are in place to move between environments.
- Provide work stream updates to the PM to ensure that the status of the configuration can be accurately represented.
- Successful delivery of all configurations to budget and time across all project activity
- All configuration risks made highly visible and fully communicated to key stakeholders with clear plans in place to ensure commercial and operational risk is contained and mitigated.
- To ensure that no new code is deployed directly into PROD environments without having been unit tested in TEST/PPT.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Manhattan WMS knowledge is essential (WMOS 2017 and Manhattan ACTIVE WM preferable).
- Strong background in logistics is preferable.
- Desirable - Prince 2 Foundation, Prince 2 Practitioner, Attended ACT Workshop.
- In-depth experience in solution configuration and SQL
