What part will you play?
  • Develop and optimize technical solutions for digital and sustainable services in the field of energy systems and are the “IT face” to our customer
  • As a Service Manager you are responsible for the smooth operation and further development of our low-code development platform of the EA business unit based on ITIL
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple external service providers
  • Run technical and commercial budgets, including planning and forecasting
  • Actively handle users, licenses, and applications
  • Develop, monitor, and report on relevant KPIs
  • Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and customers
  • Ensure governance and IT security in line with assigned ACP level, maintaining up-to-date service documentation
  • Create and operate service-relevant apps, web services, and software connectors according to specifications
  • Set up and maintain service-relevant apps and add-ons such as JIRA ticketing system, Matomo, etc
  • Provide support for web services and software connectors between the platform and other systems and apps (e.g. SQL, SOAP, REST, low-code, JavaScript, CSS, HMTL, UI5)
  • Identify and resolve software issues, including troubleshooting user problems
  • Advise and instruct users, supporting the citizen developer approach
  • Consult / counsel app owners, supporting the pro-coder approach
  • Assist in handling global inquiries regarding the platform, coordinating with users and IT colleagues
What you need to make real what matters.
  • You have successfully completed your bachelor´s degree in information technology (IT), computer science or a comparable subject and several years of professional experience
  • Confirmed experience in managing external service providers and budgets
  • Strong understanding of IT governance and security standards, preferably with certification (e.g., ITIL)
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Expertise in software development and integration, including web services and APIs (e.g., SQL, SOAP, REST)
  • Experience with software platforms such as JIRA, Matomo, and others mentioned in the task description
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot software issues
  • Familiarity with citizen developer approaches and low-code development platforms is a plus
  • Your entrepreneurial spirit means you are proactive and efficiently generate innovative ideas
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • You have proficient written and spoken (technical) English and feel comfortable working in intercultural teams. German would be a plus
