IT DevOps Manager (m/f/d)
The IT DevOps Manager will be responsible for establishing and leading our IT DevOps team. This role requires a combination of leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the DevOps philosophy. Curiosity and passion for high-tech innovation.Your Tasks
- Establish and build the IT DevOps team, defining roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics.
- Lead and manage the IT DevOps team to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Transform, reengineer, and redesign the current tool landscape including migration activities.
- Develop and implement IT DevOps practices and tools in support of end-to-end application lifecycle management.
- Foster collaboration between software engineers, quality engineers, and system administrators.
- Manage CI/CD tools and pipelines to streamline application updates.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the DevOps processes.
- Ensure system uptime and scalability, anticipating growth and capacity demands.
- Drive incident management process and resolution by coordinating with different teams across the organization.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT operations, software development, or DevOps roles, with a focus on automotive systems preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI, and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Excellent leadership and teaming skills.

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 80,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
