As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, we work together with our more than 600 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade. Together with our customers, you will work on the optimization and extension of existing applications. You will bring in your knowledge, your commitment and your innovative ideas for the realization of projects, which you will put into practice with a team of software developers.

• You observe relevant trends, customer behavior, and the competition to stimulate new ideas in the field of BI
• You actively identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies within technological frameworks
• You form the interface between our Business departments and our IT teams by collecting, structuring and documenting requirements and change requests
• You support the assessment of requirements (costs/benefits/risks)
• You transfer the technical requirements into functional concepts
• You assist in the ongoing and upcoming modernization initiatives
• You accompany the selection of IT solutions as well as conception and integration into the existing IT landscape
• You support the respective teams in the implementation and testing of requirements (e.g., by clarifying open technical questions)
• You ensure an understandable user documentation

• You have good IT knowledge and/or appropriate education
• You have a passion for data and a highly analytical mindset
• You convince through your professional experience in IT projects or in the analysis of business processes
• SQL is not a foreign language for you
• You have several years of experience in the creation and implementation of BI solutions (SAP Business Objects, Tableau, PowerBI,…)
• You bring creativity and innovation into finding solutions
• You are characterized by your analytical thinking and good understanding of business processes
• You posess good communication and visualization skills
• You have a well thought-out and structured way of working
• You have initial experience with UML, BPMN or similar
• (IREB or IIBA certification is an advantage)
• You are an organizational talent and a team player with a hands-on mentality
• You have a good level of written and spoken English
