Develop power semiconductor loss model and thermal model for traction inverter applications
Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, PCBA, and firmware engineering teams to optimize Inverter Performance and understand trade-off
Work with the model to produce repeatable and dependable results for various stakeholders within the organization
Effectively communicate modeling study results to drive architecture and performance initiatives

Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, two years industry experience in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Excellent first-principle physics understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, power delivery, energy storage and transformation, and basic thermo-dynamics
Hybrid or electric powertrain component model development and data analysis in MATLAB/Simulink
Experience with large datasets and complicated models
Experience with semiconductor devices
Experience with high voltage design
Experience with FEA simulation
Knowledge of basic control theory and experience with embedded firmware development
Working knowledge of electric machines, field oriented control, thermal design, and/or mechanical design
