As part of our Team you will be responsible to take structured and holistic look at the High-Power Rectifiers to benchmark products both internally and against competitor offerings. Joining the Product Management team for High Power Rectifiers, you will help us in managing a portfolio of high-end industrial power supplies. In this fast-paced environment, tasks range from market investigations to business case development, life cycle management of existing products and supporting the development of next generation products. You will work at the interface of market requirement and technology in close collaboration with various functions like Sales, Service, Engineer, Manufacturing and Product Development.
Your responsibilities
- Learn about our business and the full lifecycle of large-scale projects around the world
- Gain in-depth technical knowledge about High Power Rectifiers on an overall and a component level
- Support the Product Management team in the market investigations and business cases
- Apply the understanding you gain to plan the maintenance and improvement of existing products
- Actively participate in shaping next product generations
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to improve overall setup of the product group
Your background
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar (completion of at least 5 semesters), preferably with focus on power electronics and/or power systems
- Sound knowledge of power electronics and ability to understand technical documents
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Structured thinking and working
- Practice-oriented mentality, that allows you to draw connections between commercial and technical environments
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
- Understanding of mechanical construction is a plus
- Basic understanding of industrial production/refinement of commodities (aluminium, steel, chemicals) is a plus
